1) Dress Comfortably: Wear comfortable shoes and clothing! You’ll be doing a lot of walking and standing so be dressed comfortably.

 

2) Bring pre-addressed mailing labels including your name, address, phone number, wedding date, and email so you won’t need to fill out a hundred different forms at every vendor table you visit to register for a doorprize or to receive additional information.

 

3) Bring a camera. You'll want to take photos of the exhibitors' booths and the showcase room.

 

4) Bring a notepad and pen to take notes. You may even want to have some way to organize the business cards and brochures you collect during the expo.

 

5) Collect EVERYTHING at the show. You may not know that you'll need it later.

 

6) Be sure to catch the fashion show and listen to the entertainment. Take notes of attire you like during the show and entertainment you like during their presentations.

 

7) Bring a tote bag in case the one provided is not large enough or sturdy enough for you.

 

8) Bring money to purchase snacks and beverages.

 

9) Take your time. It can be overwhelming to see 40+ booths and speak to the vendors. Pace yourself to stay excited and avoid feeling overwhelmed.

 

10) Bring a friend. It is helpful to have a friend who might think of questions that you don't think of during your conversations with vendors. Your friend can help to collect and organize information. Plus, it's great to have someone with whom you can share this exciting experience!

 

11) TALK to vendors. Selecting vendors for your wedding is not just about the price, it's about the relationship. You should know if you "click" with a professional or not.
