The State of Hawaii's Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR) have recently imposed restrictions upon the Hawaii wedding industry.

• First, they have required permits to perform weddings on beaches.
• Second, they have imposed a "no props rule", and have made it illegal to have chairs, arch-ways and dinners on a beach at a wedding.
